Meridian Family Law – helping you to find solutions for your children law issues
The breakdown of a relationship is inevitably one of the most stressful and difficult times in your life. The main worry is likely to be about where your children will live and how they will have an ongoing relationship with both parents and their wider family.
As a parent you will be best placed to understand your child’s needs and the effects that the breakdown of the relationship will have on them. The best option for everyone and primarily the children is that any arrangements for the children are worked out by agreement. This is supported by the Family Court Judges, and alternative dispute resolution such as mediation has to be attempted in most cases.
If agreement cannot be reached then you can ask the Family Courts to make a decision about what arrangement is in the best interests of any children.
We offer sensitive, constructive advice to try and help parents resolve matters amicably whether that is through the Family Court or through amicable negotiation.
We are specialists in our field and our solicitors hold the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation or are members of Resolution (First for Family Law) which provides clients with the reassurance of the quality of advice that we offer.
We are accomplished advocates and can represent you at your Court hearing which provides continuity on your case, or work with specialist barristers depending on your instructions.
